Investigators work at the crash site of a Learjet in Greenacres, Florida

Palm Beach County Sheriff Identifies All Nine People Killed in Greenacres Plane Crash as Investigators Continue Work at the Wreckage Site

GREENACRES, FL — The Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office has officially identified all nine people who died when a Learjet crashed in Greenacres on Sunday. The plane, carrying seven passengers and two crew members, went down and exploded near West Palm Beach on a flight from Austin, Texas, to the Bahamas.

The sheriff’s office said Wednesday that the victims included the pilot, copilot, parents, two young children, a nanny and two family friends. Authorities have continued to work the crash scene along Military Trail while forensic teams and federal investigators help sort through what happened.

Sheriff’s office releases names of the victims

PBSO said its Violent Crimes Division and Crime Scene Unit worked with the Forensic Sciences Division, the Palm Beach County Medical Examiner’s Office and the FBI to confirm the identities. The agency said the list now accounts for everyone aboard the aircraft, and forensic work has not turned up any additional unknown victims.

The sheriff’s office also said next of kin have been notified. The Medical Examiner’s Office is handling the reunification process, while recovery efforts continue at the crash site. The identification effort has been one of the central tasks since the plane came down Sunday, Nov. 1.

Officials identified the victims as Jeffrey Gregory, 55, the pilot, and Nathalia Filgueiras, 20, the copilot. The remaining seven were Rowan “Charmi” Fehr Toews, 38; Ana Maria Ramirez Cetina, 24; Adam Robinson, 45; Helen Sharp, 40; Charles Robinson, 2; Emma Robinson, 4; and Rachel Reed, 38.

Family members say a nanny and close friends were among the dead

Relatives of the passengers previously identified Charmi Fehr and Rachel Reed as family friends and Ana Maria Cetina as the children’s nanny. The families of the seven passengers also said the crash killed Adam Robinson, his wife, Helen Sharp, and their children, Emma and Charlie.

In a statement, the families said their hearts were also with the pilots’ relatives, who are grieving alongside them. The identification of the victims has made clear how many circles of family and friendship were touched by the crash, which claimed people connected both personally and professionally.

The list from PBSO matched those descriptions and gave ages for each victim based on birth dates in the sheriff’s office release. Officials said the crash remains under investigation and that the collection of human remains is still continuing at the scene.

A copilot with early flying credentials and a veteran pilot were aboard

Filgueiras was identified as the copilot on the Learjet. CBS12 previously reported that she earned her license in 2023 while she was a 17-year-old senior at West Boca Raton Community High School, underscoring how early she had entered aviation.

Gregory, the pilot, had previously worked for East Coast Jets. The company said it was deeply saddened to learn that he was among those killed and described him as a former member of its team who worked there briefly in 2016 and 2017 before taking other jobs.

East Coast Jets also offered condolences to Gregory’s family, the rest of the crew and the passengers. The company’s statement added another layer to the tragedy, showing that the crash affected not just one family group but also aviation colleagues and others tied to the flight.

Adam Robinson was known in Austin as a tech entrepreneur

Robinson was a co-founder of Robly, an email marketing platform, and founder of Retention.com, a company that uses technology to connect e-commerce website visitors to their email addresses. He had built a reputation in Austin’s tech community and was described by local leaders as part of the city’s entrepreneurial fabric.

In a recent appearance on the ProfitLed podcast, Robinson said he and his family lived in Aspen, Colorado. He spoke about enjoying time with his children morning and night, traveling less for work and living in what he called a dream place for his family.

He also said his wife was happy because she could work as a full-time artist. Austin Technology Council CEO Thom Singer later said Robinson was part of the local industry’s fabric, after news of the fatal crash spread through the tech community.

Crash investigation expands as crews stay on scene in Greenacres

PBSO said the crash scene has remained active since Sunday’s wreck along Military Trail. Palm Beach County Fire Rescue has stayed on site with sheriff’s deputies while local, state and federal agencies continue working together.

Officials have not said what caused the Learjet to go down. For now, investigators are focused on recovery, confirmation of identities and the handling of remains as the Medical Examiner’s Office coordinates with families.

The crash also drew wider attention because it struck a community area near West Palm Beach and involved passengers traveling from Texas to the Bahamas. With all nine victims now identified, the case has moved deeper into the investigative and recovery phase.
